    Legislative Leadership Summit

Each February, Council members come to Washington for an intense day of political briefings and meetings with their U.S. Senators and Representatives. It’s the most hands-on way to have your voice heard on Capitol Hill, and bring the industry’s perspective to the political process. For more information on the Legislative Leadership Summit, click here.

    CouncilPAC

By contributing to The Council’s political action committee, member firms and their employees help build The Council's name in Washington, giving our lobbyists the power they need to cultivate relationships on Capitol Hill. Those relationships are critical to ensure we can educate candidates and lawmakers who may be unfamiliar with the intricacies of our business or the consequences of irresponsible legislation. Learn more about CouncilPAC, or make a donation.

    Grass Roots

When key legislation enters the voting stage, The Council may ask members to write letters to their representatives on Capitol Hill to encourage political action. Council members should look for urgent emails detailing what is needed, and be prepared to act quickly.
