Audra L. Jackson currently serves as Director of Government Affairs at The Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers. Prior to joining The Council, Audra served as Special Assistant to the President and House Legislative Affairs Liaison for the White House Office of Legislative Affairs, where she helped pass into law several pieces of legislation key to the Biden-Harris Agenda, including the bipartisan Fiscal Responsibility Act, the National Security Supplemental, and the National Defense Authorization Act. Before joining the Biden-Harris Administration, Audra worked on the House Floor as Assistant Manager in the Democratic Cloakroom, under the leadership of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Audra is also an alum of Reps. Linda Sanchez (D-CA-38) and Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX-30).
Audra holds a Master of Arts in International Business and Policy from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
