To all members:
In light of the current conditions and trends in dealing with COVID-19 and in addition to conversations with our Board and CEBE leadership, we are sorry to announce we’ve decided to cancel the Employee Benefits Leadership Forum (EBLF) scheduled for May 26-29 at The Broadmoor. A notice has gone out separately to all EBLF attendees and sponsors.
Everyone’s foremost concern right now is taking care of your clients, colleagues and families as you navigate the ever-shifting dynamics of this outbreak. When we reach the other side of this pandemic, it will be essential for us to reflect on the lessons learned and answer questions about the role of the employer, the gaps exposed in our healthcare system, and how we can serve clients in a new environment. When that time comes, The Council will convene the leaders of this industry either virtually or physically—and have those conversations.
As for future Council events, we continue to monitor the ongoing developments around COVID-19 and will keep you apprised of any adjustments to our schedule. In the meantime, we will continue to support you with resources, intelligence and thought leadership for you and your clients to help you through the duration of this crisis. Please visit The Council’s COVID-19 Resource Center and visit leadersedge.com as we are updating our information regularly.
Sending our best to you, your families and your firms.
