Washington, D.C. – October 4, 2022 – The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers announced that it has continued to grow its membership, with the addition of 11 new member firms in the first three quarters of 2022. The new members include: Descartes Underwriting (Puteaux, France), Benecon (Lancaster, PA), PLATFORM Insurance Management (Toronto, Ontario), Flexible Benefit Service (Chicago, IL), Underwriting Management Experts (Lansdale, PA), Highstreet Insurance Partners (Traverse City, MI), PCF Insurance Services (Lehi, UT), HORAN Insurance (Cincinnati, OH), BKCW Insurance (Killeen, TX), DiOT-SIACI (Paris, France), and The Paladin Group (Cedar Falls, IA).
“We’re pleased to see the recognition – particularly among firms that are in growth mode – that joining The Council is a valuable investment in their business,” said Ken Crerar, President/CEO of The Council. “We remain committed to exclusively representing the most prominent firms within our industry, and we’re thrilled to welcome a new group of domestic and international firms to our community.”
The Council’s Partners program continues to grow with the addition of three new Gold Partners: Amwins, Brown & Riding, and Burns & Wilcox and five new ILF Event Sponsors: At-Bay, Beazley, Broker Buddha, CRC Group, and Westfield.
Previously announced this year, The Council welcomed Aon, Baldwin Risk Partners, Equitable, and Globe Life Benefits as Gold Partners. New event sponsors include: Ascend (ILF), Broker Buddha (ILF), Ennabl (ILF), Lockton Re (ILF), Marathon Health (EBLF), and 1970 Group (ILF). Three partners increased their investment in The Council: Applied (Gold to Platinum Partner), Old Republic General Insurance Group (ILF Event Sponsor to Platinum Partner), and UnitedHealthcare (EBLF Event Sponsor to Gold Partner).
“The sustained interest in our Council Partners program is a result of the value sponsors see from their investment in The Council and participation in our annual events,” said Nancy Mellard, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services Division, and Council Board Chair. “Our entire industry benefits from the collaboration The Council facilitates between brokers, carriers and other strategic partners, and we are so grateful to our 2022 Council Partners and Event Sponsors for their continued support and engagement in our community.”
The Council is hosting its annual Insurance Leadership Forum this week in Colorado Springs, CO.
