It is expected that President Obama is planning to roll out new information sharing and cybercrime legislation today while visiting a DHS facility.
Liability protection for companies engaged in cyberthreat information sharing is thought to be major part of the legislation as is expanded law enforcement capabilities to stop botnet attacks, target the sale of illegal spyware software and criminalize the sale of stolen U.S. financial information around the world. The White House has more.
