WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers is pleased to announce the addition of three new domestic firms and two new international firms to its membership community thus far in 2024. Additionally, The Council Partners program saw increased investment through new and enhanced sponsorships within the carrier community.

The Council is pleased to welcome the following new firms in Q1 2024:
- Alkeme Insurance Services is a Business Insurance top-100 retail firm based in Ladera Ranch, California. Alkeme helps insurance brokerages realize sustainable growth and success through the creative use of innovation, shared services, consultation and marketing.
- Cornes & Co. is The Council’s first member headquartered in Japan. Part of the Cornes Group and established in 1861 as an international trading house, the insurance agency division focuses on global programs ranging from property, liability and cyber to group life insurance.
- Falcon Risk Services is a managing general agent based in New York City. The agency is focused on underwriting and claims management of financial and cyber lines of insurance business throughout the U.S.
- McGohan Brabender is based in Dayton, Ohio, and specializes in innovative and collaborative employee benefits management, including risk and population health management and human resources solutions.
- PT Talisman is a retail brokerage established in 2003, providing tailored insurance services and solutions to each customer. The firm is a top-10 brokerage in Indonesia and strengthens The Council’s presence in Southeast Asia and Oceania.
The Council is also pleased to share that Symetra has joined The Council Partners program as an EBLF Event Sponsor, and Ameritas has chosen to increase its commitment from EBLF Event Sponsor to Gold Partner in 2024.
