THE COUNCIL WELCOMES FIVE NEW MEMBER FIRMS TO COMMERCIAL BROKERAGE COMMUNITY
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers is pleased to have welcomed five new member firms to its community since June of 2023: EPEGA SA (Casablanca, Morocco), Mylo (Kansas City, MO), Panorama Insurance Associates (Roseville, CA), Resilience (San Francisco, CA), and Schauer Group (Canton, OH).
“Our membership team continues to find both domestic and international firms that are innovative, growth-focused and interested in the networking opportunities and resources The Council offers,” said Ken Crerar, CEO of The Council. “The addition of these firms will strengthen our community by expanding The Council’s global footprint and providing fresh perspectives on emerging risks.”
- Resilience is an MGA focused on bringing cyber coverage and security to mid/large sized clients. Founded in 2021, they are currently working to expand into Europe, Canada, and Bermuda.
- Mylo is an insurtech leader with an insurance intelligence platform, which integrates into partner experiences to connect business owners and individuals with top-rated insurance products from multiple carriers.
- Schauer Group is a fourth-generation, family-owned, retail agency with 100 years of experience providing innovative risk management, insurance and human capital services.
- Panorama is a full-service insurance brokerage providing customized property and casualty insurance, health and benefits, and wealth and retirement solutions for businesses and individuals nationwide.
- EPEGA is an international consulting firm and The Council’s only Africa-based broker. Founded in 1944, EPEGA specializes in the audit of risks and coverage in the insurance and reinsurance market.
“As our marketplace evolves, we strive to attract new members that help make The Council representative of the broader brokerage community,” said Robert J. Klonk, Chairman and CEO of Oswald – a Unison Risk Advisors Company, and The Council’s 2023 Board Chair. “Our new members provide depth in a number of areas including industry expertise, ownership structure and business focus.”
To date, The Council has onboarded a total of 11 new members in 2023.
